Abstract
Moving
from a theoretical action science approach, the authors propose a
community-oriented intervention model designed to prevent and limit traumatic
reactions in children exposed to war and military violence. A case study of 500
Palestinian children from the Tulkarm Region (West Bank) to illustrate the
intervention model and future directions are discussed.
